Back from Mozambique

Well I am back from a ten day vacation and trip to Mozambique! What an experience. We started last Thursday and flew to Johannesburg, then travelled to Kruger Park for a day. oh my goodness goodness me! Talk about experiences of a life time!! While I'm secretly envious (i guess it's no longer a secret!) of all your cool adventures, I'm so excited for you that you've had the opportunity to see corners of this crazy world that I hadn't ever thought to visit. I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying it all. All the best in the next half of the semester! We all miss you lots on this side of the world! :)

I am soooooo jealous...always wanted to go to Mozambique(amongst other places in Africa) as well as Kruger nat park! Sweet pics, reminds SO much of Sri Lanka...btw, is that a tan I see?! Anyhoo, life's crazy here as per usual, especially with being in the middle of exams. It's a rather strange co-incidence, but I just found out that one of my friends from high school in AbuDhabi - Charisse Adams - has moved to UCT from London (she's S.African)...so if you meet a gal called Charisse, it may just be her :)

Yes indeed, I am a lot darker than when I left rainy Van city.
I don't think I will ever be this dark again, it's actually insane.
I haven't met a Charisse Adams yet, but I will be on the lookout:)

I don't have my own account so I have to piggy back off my big sis! I've already talked to you about the trip but the pictures are amazing!!! Good luck with the second half of the semester. I'll be thinking about you as I do..... NOTHING!!! Exams end on Tuesday :)

We're praying for your safety. I'm really sorry to hear about the two UCT students. I'll pray for your mom too. She must be worried sick. Good thing she gets to come see you soon!
