It sounds like you're having some amazing experiences! How did you get connected with this group? Is it through UBC, as well?

I found it on the internet. The organization is called Pedrru (Promotion of Education and Defense of Refugee Rights in Uganda) and I was placed there through the Global Volunteer Network (GVN). If anyone wants to spend a summer in Africa, this is definitely the place to be.
PS I saw your Whistler pics-they are amazing! Sadly Erin's haircut won't be a surprise anymore, but tell her I LOVE it, it looks awesome!
