 It's a new era.  New place, new priorities and finally the final piece of the puzzle: a new job.  I'm not sure how it happened, but I somehow managed to convince a law firm to hire me as a receptionist despite my lack of interest in lawyer-ish things and complete lack of administrative experience.  Seriously though, how hard can it be to answer ( Read more... )

I must say that I do love the evenings and weekends off when I'm working. Especially since work stays at work. Like, you get home at 5:30 or 6 or whatever...and the day is over. No reading, no papers, no studying. I can't wait to get back to that.

I know! No not-studying-guilt!
I am now free to go for dinner and hang out with people sans panic about papers, midterms, etc. Plus being paid for time put in is amazing.
Only down side is the lack of holiday-ishness.
But I would much rather have that then be in school right now.

You know what I love? No homework... There are days when I STILL catch myself thinking, "I have to finish 30 pages by tomorrow, and get started on the stats..." and then get very happy when I realize those days are done.
