dude, daria and my so called life, two of my favorite tv shows ever are both on "the-n" (i hate calling it that, i much prefer nog), but at 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. lame. it's so tempting to stay up, but no. i must stay strong. i must go to bed

me and a few people have made an agreement to give up the internet as new years resolutions, you should do so also. I realize its quite a shame how it has ruined everyone's life. You never see kid's outside anymore and you don't even have to go to a bar or party to meet a friend or gf/bf; you can just use myspace or friendster. If you want to play baseball you just have to plug in your playstation. I see my 9 year old brother sit on the internet and I remember when I was that age I was outside playing roller hockey in the street. Everyone has become isolated thanks to this crap. It has ruined our imaginations and made us dumb. Well I say fuck it! I'll go back to kick the can and stickball.

i don't know if i could completely give it up. it's hard because so many things have turned over to the internet, mail, music, research, etc. in some ways it can be very helpful, i just abuse it. maybe for new years i will limit it, or use it only for necessities. i wish i could totally give it up, maybe at some point i will, but i know i wouldn't be able to right now. good luck though, i envy you and your ability to...break free heh.
