Citizenship update

Our story so far:

• April 7 2011 - Application completed and mailed
• April 11 2011 - Application actually received by CIC
• May 17 2011 - Date of receipt letter
• July 12 2011 - Receipt letter received (thank you, Canada Post! I'm sure I might have got that sooner had you not been on strike)
• November 9 2011 - Status changed from 'Received' to 'In Process' (I

Congrats! plonq was the only friend/relative around when I got sworn in, but it was still fun. I think the neatest part was seeing all the other people (whole families, even) at the same ceremony, and hearing their stories of what brought them to Canada.

Congratulations on attaining your Canadian citizenship, Frysco! That's so incredible and very awesome!

A shame that the timing coincides with the Rainfurrest weekend. I suppose you'll be driving down from Vancouver shortly after your oath ceremony?

We'll have to celebrate your Canadian citizenship at RF (despite doing the celebration in the States!). :D
