I've started watching Question Time again after a lengthy hiatus. A couple of observations on last night's enjoyable programme:

In most cases, the sign 'Trespassers Will Be Prosecuted' is legally incorrect.

This does not, however, mean that I recommend trespassing on to someone else's land in order to inform them of this fact.

My first day at BPP today! I went to see Pride and Prejudice today. I managed to spot knirirr in at least two scenes, and my sister was dead impressed, especially by the snuff scene.

An anxious day today initially, but months of pessimism and moaning came to an end as my sister surprised everyone, not least herself, by getting all A* in her GCSEs! As ever, I'd believed the rhetoric, and was panicking. I'll never learn, it seems.

Yesterday saw the G&S Society outing to Buxton. And very enjoyable it was too. The town was surprisingly picturesque, without the tackiness that one finds in places like Brighton. The housing and transport arrangements weren't as complicated as I'd been led to believe (largely, of course, thanks to dyddgu and knirirr). And all was very musical. The only shame ( Read more... )
