my nephew broke his leg..it's the second time, this summer. he has some rare disease where his "tibia" or shin bone is really brittle. each time he breaks it he's in a cast from his hips down to his toes for 6 weeks. god, for fucks sake, be happy you're not stuck in that kind of rut for the rest of your life.
