The 11th of March will be my 365th calendar day in the employ of Volt on this latest Microsoft contract, which means that I'm about to get laid off again. (This is my entry for Napalm's beard competition.)

My beard, while not as magnificent as some, has merits that cannot be denied. What it lacks in volume and mass it makes up for in versatility and configurability. It's also a deadly weapon, as you will see in this video.

My wife and I are going to be caring for and homeschooling our nephew, a huge responsibility that came to us overnight. We really are overjoyed at the opportunity, but it's daunting as well. Good thing we love the kid.

Other than the obvious, the challenges include the fact that both he and I have ADHD.
