bb, I know what you mean. That shit pisses me off. I'm not sure if you saw the post I did about coming out to my brother, but shit some people say about us being ~different~~~ gets on my nerves. He went a little further and told me to just suppress my urges (?!?!?) and that all gay people are immoral and that I should just respect his opinion. You know what I have to say to that?

FUCK. NO.

I am just like anyone else and will not be marginalized or pigeon holed. People just want to create little perfect compartments and labels for each other. SMGDH.

I honestly believe that if people were properly educated on what being LGBT actually is (or plainly, what the components of sexual attraction are) there wouldn't even be this straight/gay division and we could all just be seen as fucking people.

smh @ the world we live in. I feel ya gurl. That sort of intolerance sucks, especially when it comes from family. :/

wow I had no idea people used that term anymore. I remember that from the health pamphlets from the '80s that my high school distributed :/ It really is a pretty offensive term if you think about it.

lol You'd be surprised. I really only hear people in their 40s use it these days but there's no doubt in my mind that people our age who were raised by these really old-fashioned people still say that, too.
