Cardin approached his usual prey Velvet, Y'know, it bothers me a little how casually they looked on Velvet being bullied in canon, but I can accept it as all of them subscribe to the "this is something you have to do yourself" mentality to varying degrees. Here it's much worse, because according to Boy, Faunus are regularly beaten just for being Faunus. That's not the type of thing any of these characters would let stand. Boy, in particular, having (allegedly) suffered this terrible abuse, really comes across as the selfish twat he is. It doesn't matter that Velvet is being bullied, it only mattered when he was the victim.
I can't take it anymore! How can you be going out with an animal like him!? As flat as Cardin is, ProAJ can still make him OOC. Cardin never showed any interest in Blake (or any of the girls, for that matter), so why does he suddenly care?
Blake took off her bow. Again, Velvet being physically picked on. Meh. But a mild slur against Boy, that requires bold action!
