Like alwaysholly, my LJ visits have been rare over the past 18 months. It's nice to see such great news - congratulations! Is it a contract for books or short stories?

Hi. Can't fault you for not being on LJ much when my own visits are so few and far between most of the time ( ... )

Thanks.

And you are my first friend on Dreamwidth. Was wondering whether I would be talking to myself over there. LOL

I noticed this through rs_phrophet and just had to offer my congratulations.
Once in a Blue Moon was one of the first fanfiction pieces I ever read and a good reason why I'm still hooked today. You're such a talented writer and I can't wait to hear about your sure to come, future success.
Congratulations, you deserve it!

Thank you!

I'm glad you liked Once in a Blue Moon and hope that if you ever read any of my original fiction that you enjoy it just as much.

I didn't know that there had been any sort of announcement in the prophet. I am really slack at keeping an eye on my f-list. So thanks for the heads up as well.

Thanks. I am still in my "OMG" stage at the moment. LOL

The publisher was set up by an author who knows how frustrating the waiting can be, so they tend to work a lot quicker. I can't believe that two weeks ago I had not submitted anything, but now I am working on my final edits. Talk about fast!

I just hope that the book goes down well and that the publisher will keep accepting my stories. *fingers crossed*
