I've been wanting to play D&D quite a bit lately... where did you pick up a gaming group of people you don't know, though?

Craigslist, flyers at gaming stores... I'm playing with people I met through clubbing that gaming had come up in conversation with.

I had no idea you painted figures. I did when I was young, though I did so very horribly. I've picked it up again pretty recently and have been finding it a lot of fun, though I'm still not very advanced at all.

I need to get you into a DnD game, though being 40 miles away might make that tricky.

I haven't painted a fig since I was young (or, maybe college)... but I do like cutting things apart and reattaching them, and reclaiming my youth by doing it to minis made sense to me.

I would love to game with you, but yeah, distance is hard. Any of your players pass by me (or any BART station between SF and you)? I could get myself to Milbrae BART, but I don't know that helps much.
