I've been using 'fungol' since the mid 90s.  Eventually I decided that it was the username of a ficticious Fritz Ungol.  Today I learned that Ungol is Sindarin (Tolkein's Elvish) for Spider.

Interesting.

This evening I ran the first session of D&D for my coworkers.

It went well, though we didn't finish the one-shot I had written.

People seemed to enjoy it and expressed interest in playing again!

I'll write a more detailed post-mortem tomorrow. ;)
