So, every month or three I wind up having to be up between 4 and 6 am on a weekend in order to monitor a softweare upgrade for something I admin.

My solution: Stay up all night playing video games.

So, using my newly acquired soldering skills, I just finished building an audio breakout box for my iPhone. It allows me to plug into the headphone jack and gives me audio ports for either headphones, RCA cables (stereo) as well as a seperate 1/8" jack for the mic.
