so, as i prepare for college, and as i actually make an income (gigs and lessons bitch), i wonder, what to do with money? here's a chance for you to have a deep impact upon my life. should i look for something big to blow it on now? should i look for something bigger to blow it on later (in college)? or am i really going to need it so i can ( Read more... )

currently $700. hopes of up $100-$150 a month, but right now i don't know what's realistic...

Well, I spent nearly $800 on books alone this year. And I've spent nearly that much on "other things" so far (which includes a cheapish digital camera/trip to Michigan game/etc. that you wouldn't necessarily be spending). So, I don't know. You can never have too much money, I guess. So being thrifty never hurts.

yeah, im all about travel.....however you're definitely going to need some next year for random expenses so you'll want to at least save some.
