I came to a solidification of the realization on the way back from clas today that I want to be one of those parents some day that goes to their kids games/events/whatever. I want to be one of those annoying parents that actually gives a crap about what their kids are doing. I don't really care if they win or lose, I just want my kids to know ( Read more... )

I think that's what all parents should say to themselves... and if they don't, they should lop off their genitals... haha or maybe not something that horrible, maybe they should just not have kids... haha good times indeed.

Just put dry ice in a 2-liter bottle and cap it. I wouldn't recommend doing it in the city, though, because it makes a REALLY loud noise and the plastic from the bottle acts as shrapnle (sp?). So, if done, do it in the country and get far away. I'm just curious to see how much of a dent one will make on the ground.

Haha. Bomb is probably too strong a word to use. I think the proper term would be "noise maker." Besides, the only mess would be water and plastic. Not so bad. The one using lye and aluminum leaves a hell of a mess. Haven't done any of them yet, though. This is good.

oh.. you are so cute... but I bet we'll cultivate some bohemian new age prophet who would rather chant om's than kick a soccer ball around.. hahaa.. .but I hope our kids (presuming we have kids) will be active in sports and whatnot and I will definitely come to games and cheer on the sidelines...

Either way. If the kid wants to chant om's, I'll do them with him/her or at least help open up doors for him/her.
