Carla and I are safe in costa rica we went way over budget on saturday by staying at a lodge and using two taxis. busses are much cheaper. last night we stayed with a lovely woman named Mireja who charged us only $12 to sleep in her house and take two meals. breakfast was especially good. we hiked and swam yesterday at Tapanti National Park. today ( Read more... )

we are leaving this afternoon for orlando and bright and early saturday we will catch the plane for costa rica... Im excited and nervous. I'll try to keep in touch with errrbody via livejournal or myspace... at least a couple of posts. I'll miss everybody.

Hey eveybody. I spent the last three days in Big Bend. It was beautiful. Last night it got down to like 19 degrees. on our first day we went on a 15 mile hike, my legs are still sore. Carla says hi. I hope everybody is well, we'll see you on Saturday or Sunday maybe.

Last night we had a pretty great trip to Gainesville. Yuengling black & tan is a pretty tasty beer for $5 a six pack. Japanther were fairly awesome and noisy and played like a thousand "last songs" one of which was about how much they love their mothers.
