*chuckles* they're not even canine at all on that level..they're more related to the badger or skunk if you want to take it that way :) The musky mammal catagory.

But to be honest, hyena's has attacked people ;) Local natives, durring a hyena attack, are bitten in the face while they sleep. Trust me, I have pictures, hehe. But by all means, they shouldn't be killed off. If you're going to kill off an animal for who did the most killing of local african natives, then lets kill off the hippo--seriously. The hippo has killed off more humans then any lion or any other predetory animal in the Savannah.

Weeell... I've heard a lot of debates about what hyenas are more closely related to. Some say they're related to felines(which I actually beleived for a while) others say mongooses... does anyone know what the hell they're talking about? :P

I do, and Hyenas are their own classification. Hyaenidae. Closely related to Herpestidae.

I hate when that shit happens... when an animal, any animal, bites or attacks a stupid human for being in their teritory or doing something stupid, even purposely stupid, humans go on a rampage and kill them off to get their revenge.

I mean WTF?!

If humans attack or butally kill animals, it's totally on purpose. Too bad the animals can't congrate and decide to kill off that human. We'd have less 'homosaipassholians' running around.
