I'm so so sorry for whatever has happened in your and Belic's lives, you have my best wishes and thoughts. That said, I'm so sorry to hear about FurFright. I want you to know it was by far my favourite con that I looked forward to every year. It was the first con I ever sold my art at and gave me the courage and drive to want to continue dealing and expand to try other cons. I have many fond memories made at FurFright, and met some of my dear friends there for the first time. This con will be very, very missed and I want to thank you and all the staff for making it as wonderful as it was each year and for working so hard.
If anything, it is naive to even suggest that Furfright won't be missed! Every one of you have done great things to bring people together over the last decade, and I regret that I only got to experience it for three years. During that time I went from being nervous at the thought of attending a furry convention (and outright scared of fursuits) to Furfright becoming the highlight of my year, where I got to enter a slightly different dimension from my own and coexist with six foot tall anthropomorphs - indeed, I am now in the process of ordering a fursuit of my own and I'm disappointed that I won't be able to debut it at the convention that gave me my start along that road! You provided a place for us to meet up with friends from all over the country - many of them seeing each other in real life for the first time. On a personal level, you gave me an opportunity to perform and to find out how much I loved it - something that I had wanted to do for many years but had never found the opportunity
( ... )
If just one person remembers FurFright with fondness. If it helped just one person smile and know they were loved and belonged.
That and so much more! FurFright was the number one best furry convention of them all, and both Duncan and I will remember it with the fondest of memories! Thank you for all the endless dedication and your labors of love. I don't know what has happened in your personal lives, but I hope everything works out over time. If Duncan and I can be of any assistance with anything, please do not hesitate to ask. Belic and K'gra, you are more than just "con chairs" to us, you are family, two of the best people I have had the pleasure of knowing. *hugs tight*

Nothing lasts forever, but I am so sad to see it come to an end.
This was by far my favorite convention. It has been and always will be this way.
