luke, i love every line of this. and i can just hear it as a song. of course i don't have any idea what all those chords sound like, but the words instantly make music for me. if you wrote this, i will say you are amazing. i would say that even if you wrote something like this:

leaves are dying
i was crying
so i tried to sing
and the mountains sang too
and i'll keep singing louder than those mountains

i mean, that sounds good, too. but you're.... well, talented to say the least.
