Oh, yanno. I care insofar as I think of you and several other online presences as Those Interesting People I May Someday Get to Know Better, so I like being able to read your however-occasional posts and trying to goad myself into writing one because, look! some people are still on lj! That said, I think privacy is important and respect the desire to screen entries in whatsoever ways are most comfortable. The motto of social media should be "First, Cause No Stress". :)

I would like to keep up with you, wherever you are online. I don't know what that "last post" was about; LJ says we're still friends, but it also says your last post was in July, so maybe there's some filter I'm not on.

Yeah, it was the process of creating a filter group for a more-personal-than-usual post about my recent break-up that I decided I really needed to clean up my friends list. It was kinda ludicrous who was still on there.
