[ Rise is only half-listening, absorbed in scribbling something down on a rather large pad of paper in her lap, and not really paying the 'gear any mind unless a familiar voice pipes up there.
It's Niou's that gets her attention first, and it's really a shame that she wasn't listening before, because then she might have been even remotely prepared for the voice that answers him.
As it is, she's not. Her hand jerks slightly, and of course she remembers that drawl, that annoying know-it-all and pompous tone, relating it back to the person who'd both infuriated and related to her and her first thought isn't "Oh, Yuushi's captain, he'll be so happy!" but rather, "Him??" ]
[ and she dismisses it no less than two seconds later with a tiny noise that could only be described as a little, impatient growl. Context-wise - and of course now she's listening - it makes no sense. Playing, then... impersonating?
... Oh. She lifts her eyes fully off the pad. It wasn't what they were saying before that strikes her as odd - again, because she hadn't been focusing on what they were saying - and she slowly arches an eyebrow. ]

[Note how Lady is conspicuously innocent of all blame in Yagyuu's interpretation. Because it's good to be the favorite.]

[And yes, that does seem to be directed at both of them.]

Likely she didn't know any better than to get up to mischief with him. It's no excuse, but it's an explanation.

You'll just have to make sure to train her well, then. He seems to be a bad influence.

He does, but she seems to enjoy his company, even so. I suppose I'll have to keep a close eye on her in the future.
