I too have owned MC Hammer Parachute pants, albeit I was eight at the time. I have to admit mine were much cooler with the neon colors and obscure black splotches all over

I didn't have the light up shoes but I did have a pair of neon pink and black LA Gears to match with my Gecko shirts and stretch pants with the stir-ups

i agree with you actually... with all the indie and emo kids protesting and all. it seems like hating the president and everything is the cool thing to do. i mean, chances are, a lot of the people in those pictures don't even know what they're talking about and don't know anything about politics at all. i don't know why they could think that they're being taken seriously by anyone.

p.s. i'm sure that there are some indie and emo kids who are well-versed in politics, and if you have a legitimate cause to dislike bush, then so be it. i was just addressing the people who protest without knowing much about their cause. i add this because i don't want any angry replies telling me about exceptions to what i just said. LJ arguments are lame.
