Snow and fun.

I think today has been a good day, I just hope everyone agrees with me. Lots of folks showed up, some looked less impressed with the snow than others did.

The first order of business was sledding. And we decided that this usual crap of "find a hill, throw sled down, leap on and go" was a waste of time, so we had to go further and cut a trail ( Read more... )

I never thought I'd see my father on a toboggan. I don't know how you guys did it, but you deserve an award for that one.

I know, but still, 10% of convincing Father to get on a toboggan deserves some credit too.

*nods* Who knew fun could be so tiring? But it really was an awesome day! And I think Trunks has earned my undying respect forever and ever for figuring out how to talk his dad into joining us tobogganing. That was incredibly cool.

You're right, Pan and Mikomi *are* really talented on ice skates. You're awfully good, too! I think I'm getting the hang of it all right, I just probably need to learn a method of stopping that doesn't include falling one of these days, huh? *g*

You know, I wonder how long it'll take for Mr. Snowman and his happy family to melt. They're so tall it seems like they could be keeping things cool around here for an awfully long time!

You know what's even better? Mom caught Vegeta on the toboggan on tape. *evil grin* Want to watch it?

You're not bad at all on skates. Since the lake is frozen, we should make it a point to take advantage of it. A few more times and I'm sure you'll be flying.

I really think Pan and Miko have some serious talent with skates. I don't know about Pan, but I know Miko has a pretty intense schedual for a kid her age, but I hope she finds the time to develop that. I really think she has potential.

Oh, yes, this ought to be incredibly amusing! *g*

I think I'm getting the feel for ice skates okay except when I try to stop. 'Cause I'm still kind of hit-or-miss in terms of whether I stay upright or not!

And yeah. I hope both of them keep it up, 'cause it's always nice to have a hobby like that where you're good at it and you can have fun with it and really feel free to express yourself.

Stopping isn't too hard. You just have to get used to your sense of balance and do that slow down trick with the skates. That jagged edge on the blades is your friend!

Oh, I can't wait to watch this tape. It should be better than a movie!

Glad you enjoyed the day. Maybe we'll have a couple more days like that before winter ends.

Well, next time instead of making your own, why don't you help with the group snowman?
