Snow and all such.

We are getting wailed on this year as far as snow goes. More is coming down as I'm writing this and half the kids in school are going off into fits thinking we'll get out early. Well, considering it's almost 1:00, I can't see that they'll let us out that early, so I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Yes, I was right, the cosmic forces that ( Read more... )

I'm glad the two of you had a good time yesterday. Your father and I really were tired, don't read too much into things.

I don't really care if you were tired or not. I just noticed it was pretty early for the two of you to be sacked out.

Well, sometimes it worries me that you know way too much about what your dad and I do.

It's great having someone to talk to, you know? ChiChi and I talk a lot. Although, I find I usually talk about food or fighting.

Well, Piper and I talk about food and fighting too. But we talk about other things as well.

No, I'm more worried about having the time to watch that nifty tape my mom made. Have you seen it yet?

Shut up about that tape. I have a feeling I know exactly what's on it.

Sounds like you and Piper had a good time last night. That's cool!

Maybe I should see if Angel wants to go ice skating sometime, since the lake is so nice for that now.

That poor waitress. And those poor people. It's a wonder they still let us in that place. *g* But yesterday was such a great idea. Thanks so much!

The lecture hall where I have cultural anthro has a blackboard still, 'cause with the way the lighting is not everybody would be able to see a whiteboard because of the glare. My poetry class meets in a pretty small room, though, and it looks like they just put the whiteboards in. And there's one big table in the middle so there's not stuff written all over the place like on the desks.

Don't thank me! I'm grateful you wanted to come with me. I mean, it wouldn't have been half as much fun if I'd gone alone.

Wow, you still have some blackboards? I thought those were becoming totally obsolite and in a classy college, for MATURE people, they'd gotten rid of the last of them. We still have some in the bigger classrooms, but we're slowly replacing everything with whiteboards.

Imagine, BB and Daikon will grow up never knowing that horrid squeek of chalk on a blackboard!

True, but they'll both have to live with the icky marker smell. There's a girl in my poetry class that has to sit as far away as possible from the board when we're taking notes 'cause otherwise she goes into coughing fits.

Really? I never thought it smelled that bad. Just a bit like rubbing alcohol.

You know you shouldn't sniff them though. They can give you a hell of a headache.
