We on the red team gave it our best shot, but it looks as if that wasn't good enough. We lost. Mom and Piper made cinnamon french toast for me for breakfast this morning, I'm sure the "consolation prize." Mom was worried about me, and I think Piper was too. I was brooding on this a little hard, I admit it. But I just didn't want to say ( Read more... )

You know, having someone you can talk to about everything, even your own insecurities is important. I'm glad you and Piper have each other.

And it's nice to see you happy, Dude. Normally you're such a drag to be around. *g*

We'll eventually win one of those team battles, just you see.

I think you and Piper compliment each other well. Being able to enjoy the silences together as well as the conversations is a wonderful thing. Too many people look at silence as a crime that must be stopped by all costs, even with stupid words.

I know what you mean. Silence can be golden, and if you have someone that you're still communicating with, even when silence has fallen, that's a pretty special thing.

I'm glad you and Piper have each other to talk to. I know there are times when a mother is the last person you want to hear from, but as your mother, I want you to be happy. It makes me and your father feel good to know you and Piper both can talk to each other about anything. That's so important.

Well, it's not that I want to keep stuff from you, it's just that... well... I am your son, you know? I mean, when you think about it, it shouldn't make much difference, but it does.

I'm glad you don't take it personally that there's a lot of stuff I find easier to talk about with Piper.

I don't take it personally. As I said, I think it's great you have someone you can tell everything to.

Gosh, Beej, it isn't the red team's fault they lost at all. I mean you guys didn't have a lucky color like we did. So don't worry about it. Next time we'll make sure you're on the team with the lucky color!

*Smiles* I think it was a little more than the colors, Gokou. I think you had a lot to do with it. Notice on both teams you were on, you won.
