Ok, I went into London with Lloyd. I know. I am a sad sad person with no life. Stop laughing at me and my desperation. No, nothing happened. I might be desperate, but not enough to make me straight! He was quite good actually - didn't come onto me too much. Tried to feel me up a bit but not enough that I had to forcibly stop him. Anyways - I'm 5 ( Read more... )

I might be desperate, but not enough to make me straight!

If you were straight I would so be trying to hook you up with my brother-in-law. There's a lot to be said for arranged relationships in this day and age of disease and political unrest. 18 years ago my mom was threatening me with one when AIDS was starting to show up in High Schools here in the states. Her choice was a little less than attractive, but it was her best friend's kid. In any case, I still don't have the heart to tell her I like girls too. My brother kinda stole my thunder by comming out just before I was going to and that was almost 10 years ago now. Not that it matters anyway. I've found my life partner even though it is a hetero relationship. That doesn't mean I can't look at the menu, I just can't order anything. ;-) Oh, and what are "Chavs"?

Mm, I'm one of those few who actually thinks that some arranged relationships are a good idea! Not all of them obviously, but I think quite a lot work.

Chavs are a species indigenous to the UK... And they are the bane of my existence. I think the nearest American equivalent is white trash, but that's not totally accurate. Basically chavs all wear white Adidas tracksuits, Burberry caps, gold hoop earrings, blond hair scraped back off their faces and too much make-up. Most leave school at 16 because they're too thick to spell their own name let alone 'tectonic plate' and they hang around taking the government's benefit money and procreating like rodents. ::shivers:: They must be destroyed...

Ah! I see. We have those too, but we don't really have a name for them that isn't blatantly racist. They mostly hang out in the poor black neighborhoods because they think having a drug dealing gangsta (tm) boyfriend is the coolest thing. You're right, though. White trash doesn't quite fit. What gets me is that they get pregnant and either freak out and cry "Woe is me" or they pass the baby off on a family member and collect government checks, expecting help but not willing to do anything for it. Ok, so I do receive some government assistance, but I've worked a good day in my life and put into the system. I wasn't expecting to need it, nor did I count on it before I got pregnant. Unlike those girls, I don't plan on being on the dole forever, and my baby's father is invloved in the support and raising of the child.

Aha, yes, I saw you too!! That schools feature is quite fun ^^

I'm not sure about Sister Carmel, but I'll check tomorrow. As for Mr Allan, he left a couple of years before I joined in year 7, and I'm a year 12 now XD Our current headmistress is Mrs Prescott, but she's leaving at the end of this year. I don't know who's going to be head next...

That's ok ^^ Most of my friends don't hate it there... And I like it XD Though I have to say, I prefer it now to bck when I started. Sixth Form is great at St T's ^^

I'm studying Japanese at St T's. They arranged for a tutor to come in and teach me - she teaches a few of the Chinese girls privately too. It's great, I love Japanese ^^ And I'm eternally grateful that they set up the classes for me. It is a fun language to learn (more so than German anyway =_=;;)
