I knew there was someone on my flist that hated Remus/Tonks, heh. Is it just because you love the Remus/Sirius (which I do love aswell, btw), or is it something else? Purely out of curiousity, not bashing you or anything =P

I have a really bad feeling they are going to leave out Remus/Tonks from the films completely anyway, so be happy =D Not that I will be if that happens >=(

W00t for Torchwood.

Yeah, it is basically just because of the Sirius/Remus thing XDDD Well, Sirius/Remus always kind of made more sense. I mean there's the whole of third book for a start, and the character of Remus especially... When Remus/Tonks emerged in sixth book, I don't think anyone guessed that would happen - it didn't make sense to me, and so I don't like it much because of that either. I don't like Harry/Ginny for a similar reason - it just seems so contrived, and seems to break with the continuity established in the previous five books. And also damn JK and her not having the courage to have an established gay character!! >3 And I hated sixth book. It read like badfic, and severely pissed me off in general. Grar ( ... )

I do fully appreciate your right to feel different to me
Oh, me too! I hope I didn't sound like I was all "why the Remus/Tonks hate, grr." (Which I wasn't). And I agree that it did kinda come out of nowhere, since there was nothing very hintful in the 5th book about them, although I think I saw it coming in the 6th and guessed the red herring, where she was meant to have been "in love with Sirius" or whatever.

And yes, there were many badfic moments in HP6. The Harry/Ginny kiss was one of them.

And also damn JK and her not having the courage to have an established gay character!!
I do agree with you on that. Muchly. But, I dunno, I'm not exactly surprised, you know?

Haha XDDD no, it's ok, I didn't feel that - I just get passionate and well OBSESSIVE about stupid things like pairings so I didn't want to come off as a self-righteous lunatic. Or something XD.

I know, I'm not really surprised - she couldn't have an openly gay character because of its public reception. But that was what I liked about the whole Lupin thing, because he seemed like the kind of character who was implied to be gay, especially with the whole werewolf thing as a metaphor. Then Remus/Tonks destroyed that, and that's what makes me a little sad D:
