Whenever I meet someone I try to proselytize to them about Nanowrimo. Because writing is a solitary misery but in November it is a shared solitary misery

I was in conversation with RyB and noticed that Crosby Stills Nash and Young were playing in the background. And I pointed this out. He listened very intently and said it was nice, that it sounded like great driving music

So there's some pretty darn talented writers amongst us here on the LJ and it seems to me like some of y'all should take a crack at National Novel Writing Month. And even if you don't consider yourself to be a writer I know and you know that you've got a story inside you that yearns to be writ.
