Last night I finally watched the movie The Dark Knight.

Now I can finally say that, NO, it did NOT live up to all the hype that everyone kept giving it

I agree with what you said about Dark Knight. It was good, but not THAT great.

The funny thing is is that if you ask someone about it now they'll be like, "yeah it was good" instead over their overly dramatic BEST MOVIE EVARRRRRRRRRRRRRR previously stated some months earlier.

yeah, it was good but only worth the money it requires to rent it.

I paid nothing and had a friend Netflix yet... and better than the theaters, too, since I was on a comfortable sofa with my boyfriend and watched it on a large plasma screen tv.

seeing it once was good and stuff, especially since I saw it in theaters
with friends and a bunch of testosterone coursing through the air...
but the time I watched it alone changed it dramatically for the worst.

I prefer to watch movies alone. I tend to get bored with a movie if I watch it with people (like this one). This summer like eeeveryday someone always had to either tell me to watch it, talk about how "amazing" it was, or ask if I'd seen it yet. And I told them "when I go an entire day without someone mentioning the movie then I will go see it." Such a day never came (during that summer). That and my family would have hour long group discussions on it over dinner and get mad at me for leaving the table and "not spending time with them" etc. etc.

In a sad way, I almost have to watch movies with people or
I'll usually get distracted or bored and wander off [which is exactly the case with this one, as with so many others. Right now I'm trying to watch this 1979 musical 'Hair' about hippies and the war, and something keeps happening. Last thing I remember, they were chasing these hot girls on a spotted horse!].
Haha, I remember that statement, except I didn't know your family talked about it so much?

Whenever my brother was over they always did what he wanted to do. So if he wanted to spend over an hour talking about the small technicalities in grave detail of a movie that everyone had seen but me, then they were going to do it.

I liked it a lot and loved Batman Begins... but last summer everyday at least 5 people I know would be like OMFG DID YOU SEE THE DARK KNIGHT YET?!?! OMFgOMFOGFMOGMFgf

It was definitely The Dark Knight. I haven't seen Wall-E yet... can you guess why? Haha.
