Skype out!
I talk on Skype a LOT. As in, it is on whenever I am online, and I regularly chat with a bunch of VAs, as well as a fellow webnovelist. So today's skype outage made a serious impact. Just one of those days
I am in MA this week, meeting with some folk from our Burlington, MA office. Traveling is often a challenge, since finding kosher food is not always easy. In this case, three of us drove up in a minivan from work, and it turned out that there are kosher restaurants in Brookline, about ten miles away, so I borrowed the van and drove down ( Read more... ) -
Arm in arm
My right arm was really bothering me and making writing hard, so I finally went to see my doctor about my "repetitive stress injury" (RSI). Well... it turns out that what I have is medial epicondylitis better known as "golfer's elbow." My doctor said he'd never actually been able to feel somebody's ulnar nerve before, so it's pretty inflamed ( Read more... ) -

One of the features of the product I work on is that ability to send messages from a client process to a server, using one of two protocols: one proprietary, and one standard. Better than a swelled head?
After my swollen feet incident, the ER doctor ruled out heart problems and liver and kidney problems. In fact, he was rather perplexed as to what might be going on, but he prescribed some medicine to help - hydrochlorothiozide, which is usually used for treating high blood pressure. FB is a busybody
I keep getting those messages...
"Say Hello. Write on her wall."
