over the holiday season I rented the DVD 'home alone' from my local video store, no big deal.

the lame part is, i forgot to return it. Now every night when i return home to my empty bed and empty apartament, there is a message on my machine reminding me to return home alone

My left mouse button failed hard the other night, after much disassembly and attempting to fix the problem I just said "fuck it" and went to Best Buy to get a new one. When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope. Yet we know that winter is just another step in the cycle of life. But standing here among the people of Los Angeles and basking in the warmth of their hearths and hearts, I couldn't imagine a better fate than a long and lustrous winter.
