So I'm talking with a coworker the other day about mp3 playing apps, and we just couldn't fathom why anyone would use winamp over iTunes. I mean, I understand personal preference and all that, but when the features in one program are so much more than the other, why not switch? Please enlighten

I would also point out that the more you push someone the more obstinate they get, I've had someone try to bully me out of my choice of player on more than one occasion and honestly the more I am bullied the more entrenched I become.
I'll look into switching to something different when my player no longer suits my needs. And then I'll probably compare several and see which one I personally like best.
Don't worry, I do want a mac someday - It will keep my PC's and my pipe-dream linux machine company. I'll probably use it as my audio machine when I get it. One of these days. When I have buckets of money.

Basically its really just because it's there and I am familiar with it. I also use quicktime and real player for the same reasons for streaming movies and audio. I'm just not that needfull of a program.
