I thought about it for a bit. It was like a blanket of greyness that simply hung overhead. No matter which direction I moved it followed. Like a puppy that just won't listen when you tell it to stay. Then it hit me. It was a ghost. Not a ghost of an individual, but instead a spirit of once was and what still can be. It was common sense

a half truth is not a lie b/c the intent is different. even if it weren't, it's still the truth, even if it is only some of it. and neither is necessarily wrong. honesty is more desirable, and even more useful, usually, but that's a whole different idea.
