This is great - I haven't seen a Quantum Leap cross-over with SGA before, but it works so well.

I'd love to see a sequel with Rodney interacting with Sam - pretty please. ;-)

Glad you enjoyed it. There may be a sequel in the future, but I've never written Rodney before, so it's not going to come any time soon. I've never written Quantum Leap before either, now that I think about it. Heh.

Yeah, I played around with a piece of dialogue that was Laura saying something like, "Someone's in my body? Again? Damn it!" But because Laura didn't have a body in Duet, I just couldn't find a way to make it work. I do think that she'd be pretty blase' about this kind of thing by now.

Well, in this case it's not so much whether Sam would be okay with the gun, it's whether *Al* is okay with Sam having the gun. And while it's been a very long time since I've seen QL, I have the impression that Al didn't have a whole lot of faith in Sam's skills as a fighter of any kind.

I actually didn't remember Sam's fighting skills. I ended up reading the wikipedia QL article after I put the story up, and then discovered just how many things I got wrong. I'm in denial about it, though, so all's still good :)
