I'm back from a few days in Philadelphia, with something disturbingly like a suntan (by my standards: mostly freckles, and so much better than pink, though I'd prefer no sun color at all). I couldn't recommend Nordstrom Rack more. I score awesome dresses and clothes at the one by Trader Joe's in SOMA. They also have great bras for around $20, which is the usual to high price I would pay for a bra but these are marked down from $60-80.

That's the same one I go to. I hadn't been in there til some time last fall, and I assumed it was like Ross or something, but it's amazing.

I'd say you should get a new dress :-) Maybe something like a simple cocktail dress - if you can find fabric and cut you like.

Speaking of semi-formal weddings (or maybe it was formal to semi-formal) - earlier this summer i went to one and i wore that long red/black shiny skirt - remember we bought those together? it was cool to get more wear out of it :-)

Yeah! I still have mine, though the bodice I bought with it is not holding up as well. (And it's too short for my torso.) I keep meaning to wear it to the Victorian ballroom dance I go to occasionally, but even with heels, the long skirt might be too long.
