I don't really know how to go about this, so I'll just say it: I've been lurking on the roleplay board at tf2chan and have completely fallen in love with your BSpy. The Spy/Engie interactions in particular have been breaking my heart lately, and since I saw you'd already put up a playlist for BSpy, I could suggest a song that reminds me of the two of them. Said song is "Au bar des suicidés" (At the bar of suicides) by Pierre Lapointe, and it works for three reasons: a) it's in French, b) its lyrics are all about a treasonous love that'll kill you one day* and c) ... it's in French.
Here's a download if you'd like to listen to it, I just thought I'd share and also tell you what a great job you're doing! Gonna go back to lurking moar now, kthx.
* ...seriously:
You know I as well, love the love which is already broken The heart tightens, but becomes accustomed You know I as well, love the love which is already tired The wounds remain, but finish by forgetting Oh! please, don't cry, I promise you one day we'll laugh

Ahhhhhfmjesoijfso thank you. :> I am always so nervous if my characterization of BLU Spy is correct and plausible, if me going for the slightly ridiculous Valve stereotypical frenchman spy version is coming out right, and all that jazz. (And yeah, the Engie/Spy... the things we have planned out and the things we haven't posted to the chan yet, I can't wait to write it all out. :3) Thank you so much!
O-oh gosh, French songs, I do love them. I have to admit I am severely lacking in them (I only have one album by Malajube, who're from Quebec besides, and an assortment of indie French songs that I cannot find any lyrics for.) and that song is really, really good. I think it fits them so well, though hopefully they have a happier end, right?
Feel free to come to chat or tf2board or whatever. <3 Lurkers are always appreciated.
Ahh, you so do Spy justice, and from what I've seen you're really good at turning slightly ridiculous into real character and I just love it. (Also ffff I can't wait to read it when you do!)
I'm similarly lacking in French songs, but they've been growing on me lately and I'm adding more to my collection (of which a surprisingly large amount is techno, haha). This one song is nice for the angsty "someday I'll show you" Engie/Spy but I agree, and need to find a song for their happy ending. <3
...And thanks for the invitation! Though I am kinda hideously shy, and content to lurk... maybe someday fff :')
haha, thank you! This is all really flattering, I'm glad I'm doing channers justice.
I'm horribly shy myself, I am really bad at big chat rooms but I promise, we're actually really inviting. :3
(And my guilty pleasure Engie/Spy song? Is probably 'Home' by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes (here), though it's really more of an Engie song because of the sound of the song, it seems like something he would pick out.)

And what about Spy and Heavy? Maybe the Tuba song?

He likes having his own theme song. Like Kronk:

Okay, I can even see Heavy having little shoulder angels/ demons that were just as thick as he is.

Your turn to find a song for us.

Okay, so maybe it has nothing to do with Spy and all to do with Heavy, but Heavy needs so lovin' in the form of awesome Russian songs.
