There was a hummingbird in the Provence lavender this morning, and I made applesauce cakelets using a WWI-era recipe. And I just finished my mani, and have about two hours for a nap before work.

One day a week in the kitchen is about all I have the domesticity for
So the real problem is that I've internalized the knowledge that A) everything that absolutely must get done on my days off can be handled in a very few hours and B) the computerage can be done just every few weeks instead of every week. Weekend offline
Spent my weekend with my nose in a book. At least I got things done Sunday and Monday morning.

The eclipse got me outside Monday and kept me there for several hours. Dad's toxic living conditions
Tuesday I developed a headache soon after reaching Dad's house. Having learned my lesson from the untreated headache of my previous visit, this time I had plenty of Naproxen in my purse.
