Do any of you have any experience with taking credit card orders over the internet for a small business?

I am trying to understand what I would need to set up in order to do this. I am confused about the fees. I am looking to understand this in the most basic way possible.

Saturday night sucked. Had a run in with one of the idiots. What's worse than being blown off? I know! I am going to go to Mardi Gras tomorrow night after the cast meeting. I got some free passes if anyone wants to come along. This is my first weekend off in a LONG time so I will be celebrating aka drinking heavily. It just might be one of those nights where I get carried out of the club.
