I told her about your living situation and she said that the government has either passed or is working on passing a law that says smoking around children qualifies as child abuse. Maybe that will get the in-laws to stop?

I totally support that. I've heard about it but I don't know if they have ever passed anything. I'll deffinitely look into it, but I don't think anything would make them stop, I'd have to leave.
