My father was a good shot with a rifle as a kid. He took first place in 7 different rounds in a local trap shoot when he was 14. Held an Oregon state title for riflery in high school. Mom was a better shot than all the boys she hung around with. My brother was a Nevada state champion for both air rifles and 22's before he entered high school. As ( Read more... )

Hell I shoot all the time. I have to keep up just to prep for. Give me a call sometime and I will go shootin' with ya. Heck I will bring the guns so ya don't have to rent any.

Okay, I'm curious: what did you want the used shells for?

A few years back, I got my concealed weapon permit, and did some research on places to both buy and get trained on handguns. Wade's Guns was at the top of the list, though it was a little out of the way--I never followed up, but I'll keep them at the top of my list, now that I've heard from someone who's been there.

I've gone shooting with my dad a couple times, and I was in my college's marksmanship club (biweekly treks out to the Rose Hill range).

What I miss most is shooting trap. The Kenmore range has a public trap range, but they don't do rentals and no one I know has a shot gun.

I have a shotgun. In fact its a trap gun. Its old, and not the kindest thing to shoot, but it does its job.

I have never shot trap. However, I have launched trap quite a bit. I actually really hate bird hunting. (I'm a terrible shot with a shotgun.)

I've never shot anything living; I'm admittedly squeamish. I just like the challenge and skill aspects of target/trap shooting. It's that gamer brain, I guess.
