My father was a good shot with a rifle as a kid. He took first place in 7 different rounds in a local trap shoot when he was 14. Held an Oregon state title for riflery in high school. Mom was a better shot than all the boys she hung around with. My brother was a Nevada state champion for both air rifles and 22's before he entered high school. As ( Read more... )

My only problem with Wade's is that they really don't have any place I can shoot my .243. However, it is great for my little .38 Special! (Alright, it's not actually a .38, but that is what I shoot out of it.)

I guess there is always the gravel pit in Olympia for my rifle.

"ladies day"... *blinks* I... don't want to know.

sadly, I've been able to fire my pistol more than my bow. I miss shooting my bow... on the plus side, if I buy/rent a house when I move, I'll be able to put a target up in the backyard and shoot whenever I want. :)

wish I was there and could go with you guys. *hugs* have fun for me!

While admittedly I don't like guns, it does not mean I don't know how to shoot. Living in Alaska for a major portion of my life meant learning how to shoot. I have not gone for a long time.

I do shoot backwards (left handed) for some reason, and I don't particuarly like shells ejecting past my face. But I love shooting rifles.

If the offer is still good, I'd like to give it a whirl. I haven't handled or fired a gun since I was about 8, and even then I only got to take a few shots. If you're game, I'd like to try it again.

Also, I added you. Kept forgetting to do that. ;)

What's your work schedule like? Are you free on afternoons, evenings, etc?

The afternoon of Monday, July 30th would rock. If you can swing it, and if you wouldn't mind carting around a carless visitor, that is. :)

Its summer. My schedule is surprisingly fluid since I work for a school. We'll arrange something. Tuesday nights of course, are cheaper, but I'm willing to pay for convenience.
