Ross Perot was rejected by 63 banks before he found one willing to back him on a little business he wanted to start. It later became known as EDS. He believed in himself and his idea. You have at least as much intelligence as he, and are a much nicer person. so there.
That's kind of like the time where everybody told me I was a great student and I should apply to good schools and I got rejected from every place but my second safety school. In hindsight it was probably the best thing for me, but I remember looking out over the barren Sonoran desert, thinking, "What am I doing, my life is over."

That still weirds me out to this day, your CV was seriously packed. I wonder what you did wrong--or if you were maybe bizarrely unlucky with admissions committees.
HJ and Tom - these were for jobs. I havent even started to think about graduate school. have a job I like OK right now but would rather be doing something more directly related to my degree
