The best kind of friends are the ones who will see you heading in the wrong direction and will say, "Hey! Do you see where this is headed?" They will risk the friendship to save the life. I'm glad I have that kind of friend.

There are some friends that are easy to talk to. Some people are too easy to talk to and you say things you might regret. Although, saying too much may be a good thing. There is a person I sort of met recently (WoW). He's easy to talk to, fun, funny. He lives not-too-far from me. He's happily married with 4 kids, and his kids are everything to him. I love thunderstorms. I used to be terrified of thunder, but ever since the science of thunder and lightning was explained, they have just been fun. Of course I don't enjoy taking the kids out in the damp, wet, yuck, but I can manage. I just wish my umbrella were EVER somewhere it would do me some good. :-)

Not completely, but for now. I am going down to Virginia Beach to hang with my BFF and her family until Saturday. There is too much crap going on here for me to want to be here. I really hate it when people who aren't my husband tell me how to deal with my kids.
