I agree that the commute from the bar to home is MUCH more important than the commute to work! I still like East Dallas, but there is a lot of crime there. If you park your car on the street, it will get broken into eventually. That's why the better apartment complexes all have gates and big fences. When we lived over there, we parked D's car on the street ONE time in almost two years. Next day the window was broken and stereo gone.
