Blair defends Bush visit

The prime minister, Tony Blair, today publicly defended his decision to invite the US president for a state visit to the UK, as the first details of Mr Bush's itinerary were released by Downing Street and a lone protester scaled the gates of Buckingham palace.

On Sky News today they said that Blair would make a speech in which "he would show Bush how grateful he is". So I assume Blair will apply the vaseline and assume the position.

All the words... making my head spin. In my defense, I can't understand half of what the article says.

It does point out that "The government didn't stoop to answer simpleminded questions." I heartily agree. Do not question this regi.. I mean administration, and we will not be forced to install surveillance equipment in your home.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a round of holes to play.
