My first excursion into the icon making world

Ok, so today was pretty boring, and I needed the distraction, so I started making (aka attempting to make) icons.  I have no fancy programs at my disposal at this point, so they are pretty basic, but I had fun nonetheless.  Everyone should know the rules by now....please credit (g_woman711 ), don't use as a base, comments are appreciated, etc etc etc.  :)

Thanks so much! The first pic is from a 2007 Vanity Fair photo shoot by Annie Leibovitz. It's from a "Behind the Scenes" feature, and there are other photos of Robert from the actual published shoot as well. She photographed a lot of big name stars in this shoot, and it's an absolutely beautiful piece!
