I've begun making home made kefir and kombucha fermented tea, and I have some lovely kefir grains and a kombucha "mushroom" (scoby) to share with Mpls./St. Paul folks who are interested. I had a cancer scare. It was out of the blue, and it messed with me. I thought at first that I would need a hysterectomy at minimum, and it ended up being a short (but painful) office procedure, followed by a few days of anxiety while I awaited my results.
