For the past 10 years readers and speakers of Gaelic, as well as Bòrd na Gàidhlig, have been asking Bloomsbury Publishing to print a Gàidhlig version of the Harry Potter series ( Read more... )

The even sadder implications of this means that two dead languages have more economic clout than Gaelic, a (barely-)living one.

Pah- soon the Hebrides will be empty anyway, with the exception of the English visiting their holiday homes in the summer.
