Travel bugs!
I just returned from a meeting/trip at the Intercontinental San Juan Puerto Rico. The meeting was fine, pretty low key, so that's cool and the hotel area nice, although REALLY expensive. Yay for camping!
We had a great time camping this weekend. The park is only about 1.5 hours north of us (Buckhorn State park, on a wide part of the WI river), about 20 miles past the Dells, so it's easy to get to. We had chosen the spot a few years ago and reserved it a few months ago. Camping is so popular in WI that spots need to be reserved months in advance ( Read more... ) -

It's looking pretty scary out there! Even a bit tornado-ish, what with the freaky orange sky.
I love storms! Reminds me of watching the summer thunderstorms come rolling across the ocean from the beach house, watching the lightening hit the water. Good times! -

My home is wherever my boy and dogs are. I've moved around so much and quite often have had to leave people and things I love behind, so I now tend to keep "home" to the bare essentials.

kefir
I made kefir the other day, although from a starter pack, not actual kefir culture. It actually turned out well and I did not become violently ill after consuming it. Once I am done with the starter packs, I'm going to try and track down the real stuff.
